New Day held our 13th Annual Good Friday Blood Drive on April 10.
The Good Friday Blood Drive proceeded as planned, as Blood Drives are labeled as essential under Gov. Ever's "Safer at Home" order. During this time, donating blood is an impactful way to reach out and love our community.
The Blood Center of Northcentral Wisconsin will be taking every precaution to make sure everything is safe and to honor current social distancing guidelines.
Blood Drive Alternative – Food Supply Drive
New Day is partnering with Community Center of Hope in Mosinee, a food pantry for low-income residents. If you can't participate in the Good Friday Blood Drive, or would like to do more, this is a practical way to bring aid to others in our community. Earlier in the month, we had originally asked for cleaning supply donations. However, with the changes due to COVID-19, CCH is specifically asking for monetary donations so that the pantry can directly buy the supplies needed while still honoring social distancing.
